Flex 3401 W/ Lake tangerine foam
Collinite Marque D’Elegance Carnauba Paste Wax #915 (cool paint and use very sparingly)

Hello,

How did this assortment work for you? I have a black metallic Toyota. I'm doing the Wolfgang trio also and was curious of the BH and Dodo duo?

Thanks,
Larry

Im in the exact same predicament with my Jetta. I have an assortment of products that I want to try out when I get a chance and will post my results. Right now I have on hand/ on order:

-Wolfgang TSR
-Wolfgang FG
-Poorboys BH
-Wolfgang DGPS
-Dodo Juice Blue Velvet Pro Hard Wax
-Dodo Juice Purple Haze Pro Soft Wax

I will also be working by hand and since I know it is very hard to correct these problems without a machine, I am hoping some applications of Wolfgang TSR/FG topped with the Poorboys to cover it up will virtually elimate the problem areas. Being so minor I didnt think it was too much of a fantasy!

I also read the Dodo wax combination should make the color come out the way you are looking for. While I havent tried them on my own, I will post my results once I get a chance to try them out.

I was able to get all small samples of these to see if I like before trying them out.

I have a black BMW Z4 and Poor Boys Black home with fusion is absolutely Great.. Also used pinnacle Signature II with great results.. The key to me was the Black Hole glaze. It provided the deep wet look that has been unmatched by other glazes.

Advil - cause metallic black flake was a great choice for a daily driver with no garage to store it in. Ugh. Even after being careful with washing and drying all last year I still have some minor scratches and swirls that need to be polished out.

Anyway,here's the usual list.
- 2 bucket wash
- microfiber wash mitt
- Megs gold class shampoo
- Poorboys black hole glaze
- Various waxes; mainly Collinite 845 and Natty Blue. But I use a bit of Sovereign spray wax in between coats.
- Was using the California jelly blade and Cobra microfibers to dry - but the Master Blaster should be here today-- whoohoo!

Sometime soon I'm going to use the GG DA with Wolfgang TSR 3.0 and Poorboy's polish to remove the swirls.

I'm hoping the Master Blaster will help cut down on the swirls. But it is a daily driver in the DC Metro region and I'm always driving through some sort of dust, pollution, etc so I guess it's somewhat expected.

ooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I LOVE that car!!! I got the same exact car as you buddy!

Here's the ONE thing you need to remember about Acura paints....

DON'T BREATHE when near the car!! It will swirl up!!! That said...this is how I take care of my TSX:

I do rinseless washes as a LAST resort. Stick to traditional two bucket method using grit guards. If you can, add a foam cannon to your arsenal for presoaks. I use a very high quality (thus more expensive) wash mitt-Dodo juice wookies fist. I got this because this is the one thing that will touch your cars surface the most, and IMO because of this, you should get a very high quality and very soft wash mitt. I also have a separate wool wash mitt for the lower panels of the vehicle. I use Dodo Juice BTBM or another PH neutral shampoo.

I never towel dry my car. I use a dedicated leaf blower that was bought specifically for drying my car. One of these days I will pick up the Master Blaster.

After I dry the vehicle, I spray some XMT 360 spray wax. It looks absolutely amazing on a well polished vehicle with a good quality nuba wax as the LSP. I've used Collinite 915 and Swissvax Concorso.

I've used 2.5 product lines on my car to polish out swirls and scratches. The very first time I machine polished my car, I used the Sonus SFX 2-4 line and it made the car look FANTASTIC!!! I was highly impressed with this product line because its hardly ever mentioned. I got it as a kit with the Porter Cable 7424XP. I've also used the Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover and the WG Finishing Glaze. It works very well with the Acura soft paint. The .5 of a product line was the Meg's MF kit. IMO this product didn't play well with our paint. I didn't like how it was clouding up the paint so I stopped and thats when I ordered the WG twins.

You're going to hate spring time...pollen makes are cars look terrible and it will drive you nuts. For this I'll be hitting up the self serves to rinse off the car atleast once a week.

I do NOT use a QD. I only use QD's to pick up bird bombs with the proper technique that Mike has put out in a thread. I'd have to find it.

I've used PB BH a few times and wasn't that impressed, I didn't really notice much difference. So I bought some Prima Amigo and there was a very noticeable difference. I gave my BH away cuz it's Amigo for me from now on.
