I recently purchased carpros hydrO2 and their reset intensive shampoo to keep the sealants longevity up. I plan on clay baring and then coating with sealant and after that using the shampoo every wash. But I was wondering what else I could do to keep it up, a quick detailer or a spray wax? If so what kinds are compatible with the sealant and what aren't? I've heard about the Lucas slick mist what's your opinions on that product? Any input would be healthful thanks!

Two other products Id like to know your opinions on are aquawax and dodo juice basics of blind QD.

I don't see the need personally especially for a product that is so easy to use like HydrO2. Why bother trying to keep it up when it would take you even less time to just reapply it?

That is true but it's not a cheap product, and I also like to use something that helps the drying process my trucks black so it water spots and smears bad if you don't take your time. So I was kinda going for the killing two birds with one stone type of deal!

For the drying process, I use Meguiars Quick Detailer. For a spray wax, I use Meguiars D156.

My new favorite is Pinnacle Crystal Mist on my black BMW. I have BFWD on as my LSP and Crystal Mist really gets it poppin after every wash.

BlackFire Wet Diamond Polymer spray is legit. Would recommend highly. You can spray it on anything.

Wolfgang Detail Spritz was my favorite when I used QD's . Aquawax is an excellent choice too as well as Dodo Basics of Bling is also very nice .

Beware that anything you put on top of Hydr02 will affect its hydrophobic behavior. No real need to top it honestly. Hydr02 will give you beyond 3 months easily with regular washes.

Okay so a no on the spray waxes since it'll actually be hurting instead of helping I don't like spay waxes anyways.. As for topping the hydrO2 with a QD will that be hurting it too? I'd like to use something as a drying agent but I would rather just get maximum length out of the sealant.

I agree with Bob , Ultima QD or just get UWW+ concentrate and make your own. Ultima WW+ is the only product besides Carpro PERL I buy by the Gallon . Love them both . The smell alone of Ultima WW+ is intoxicating lol...

Like the others I mix my own QD. I use IUDJ for washing & as a QD. I buy it by the gallon and started adding juice boost to my QD to give it more shine & protection. Using the same products for your rinseless wash & QD keeps things simple. UWW+ is a popular option.

Just use UWW+ as QD and drying aid. Corey from CarPro US uses UWW+ as a QD. I dont even have a dedicated QD once I tried UWW+. I use it on Hydr02, Reload, & coatings

Okay well this might be a dumb question but what is UWW? It sound like what I need!

Okay thanks! So it's not a wax or a QD?

It was made for rinseless/waterless wash method and also can be mix to recommended dilution ratio for QD or clay lube.
I like Meguiars D114 and D115 :D
