Marvel Cinematic Universe's hesitancy in making Superhero movies with Women Superheroes as the lead characters.

Drivers who are so overly cautious in an attempt to be safe, they are actually very dangerous.
For example, my mother-in-law stops completely at the yield sign on the on-ramp before entering the high-way. True story.

You actually do need to stop at some yield signs though. A yield sign doesn't always mean you have your own lane when entering the road.

Ohio Revised Code...4511.43:
Right-of-way rule at through highways, stop signs, yield signs.

(B)
"The driver of a vehicle or trackless trolley approaching a yield sign shall slow down to a speed reasonable for the existing conditions and, if required for safety to stop, shall stop at a clearly marked stop line, but if none, before entering the crosswalk on the near side of the intersection, or, if none, then at the point nearest the intersecting roadway where the driver has a view of approaching traffic on the intersecting roadway before entering it. After slowing or stopping, the driver shall yield the right-of-way to any vehicle or trackless trolley in the intersection or approaching on another roadway so closely as to constitute an immediate hazard during the time the driver is moving across or within the intersection or junction of roadways."

"Whenever a driver is involved in a collision with a vehicle or trackless trolley in the intersection or junction of roadways, after driving past a yield sign without stopping, the collision shall be prima-facie evidence of the driver's failure to yield the right-of-way."

Yes you guys are correct but in my opinion the only reason to stop is if traffic is at a dead stop. Your supposed to look and pick your spot where your gonna enter traffic and adjust your speed to get into that spot. It's less dangerous to make someone slow down 5 10 miles a hour than slam on their brakes because you pulled out from a dead stop. I have a class A license, my vehicle goes 0 to 60 in 10 minutes so if you stop in front of me I'm passing your butt in the burm, which I have done a few times, right or wrong I'm not stopping

You sound like the dangerous one. While I agree there's rarely a reason to stop, sometimes you have to.

Last night I was driving home from work and it was snowing and very icy. More ice than snow. So, I'm driving slow & careful on 1 lane back roads and some dude proceeds to ride my rear for like 10+ miles with his high beams on because he was PO'd I was driving "slow".

So, I never did this before, but I pulled over and was ready to brain whoever was in back of me. I just had enough and didn't care any more. But they kept driving.

So, I would just like to know if there is a person out there who would drive behind someone like this in snow and ice?

Thats an easy one bob, id get them to their destination a little quicker. Do you know that the Amish fought against having to put those triangle reflectors on. Yes I agree passing on the burm is dangerous. I get that I'm a professional and should keep my cool. It sure is tuff sometimes. Imagine in your profession the majority not doing a very good job. It would get to you once in awhile. Theres good and bad on both sides but for the most part alot of people don't know how to use the space on the roads. I've seen driver's ed teachers making mistakes. I'm not perfect but I was trained pretty well. Everyone who gets their permit should have to sit in a tractor trailer for a week to understand how to use the space in the road

Personally no, but last night the car in front me was following closely to the car in front of them. He hit the back of the front car at the next red light.

The only time I pulled over to let a car pass was a 4runner behind me towing a trailer with its high beams on. I really didn't feel like being blinded for the next 15 miles.

People in PA love to tailgate. And most of them are on their phones while doing it

Best thing to do here guys is pull over, when its safe to do so, let him pass and be done with it. Your #1 priority here is getting home safe and sound! I'd want this guy infront of me instead of behind me.

There is no satisfaction in that. That is why people today are so rude and what not - because their is no consequences. If you act like an idiot and someone jaws you - you can call the cops and have them locked up and sue them.

You go into to a store and start carrying on - nobody throws you out because it's probably a chain store and they will get fired.

Miss the old days.

A few years ago my wife had an at-fault collision when when she rear-ended the woman in front of her who came to a dead stop at a yield sign entering a roadway that expanded from two to three lanes at that ramp -- ie: no reason for her to stop.

The following year the exact same thing happened to me. No cross traffic as I glanced left, then eyes forward I had a face full of bumper. I wasn't going fast, probably less than 10 mph and standing on the brakes, but my car took the brunt and my insurance paid out $5600 to fix it. When I jumped out of my car and demanded to know why the woman stopped, her only response was, "I must stop." No, it's a yield sign. You only have to stop if there is no safe way to merge.

People have no clue how to drive, let alone understand road laws. A yield sign at an intersection is the same as it is on a roundabout or rotary: a traffic control signal to ensure drivers understand who has right-of-way. Unfortunately it doesn't help people understand how they are supposed to drive.

People suck and can't drive the conditions to save their life!!!!!

Yeah and New Jersey has the worst of them. I can't even tell you how many times a day I get cut off or tailgated all while doing over the speed limit. I usually slow to the exact speed limit when this happens just to make whomever is tailgating that much happier. And the people that cut me off usually turn at the next street.

People just can't drive anyone, period!

Tailgating, driving too slow for no reason, texting while driving, on the phone driving, no turn signals.... the list goes on.
