What really grinds your gears

Hmm.. let's see

- People slamming my passenger doors and trunk
- Seeing bird bomb on my car in the middle of winter
- Parking a mile away and I see a beater next to it when I come back
- People putting drinks and bags on my paint

I try not to let the small things bother me or I would be stressed all the time

Trust me there dude, I'm a good guy and its just too bad you don't like "Murica" but its alive and well everywhere!

I experienced "Murica" way before the term was even thought of, check this out. Had an 87' GN about 20 ears ago and the fat guys who sat infront of their cars at carshows would thumb their nose at my car because it was a V6 turbo and NO MUSCLE car because it wasn't a V8!

Now do you understand what "Murica" means:banghead:

I guess I took your comment wrong

A lot of people use the term "Murica(n)" in a derogatory way

I think of it mainly in automotive terms, like the example I stated. Also, "the other guy" who piled on who doesn't take what I say about cars because I drive a Fiat 500 Abarth, that right there is 100% pure, unadulturated BS!

That's what grinds my gears....oh wait, I drive a stick, no gear grinding:p

- Government sponsored entitlements really irritate me. I mean, I'm paying a small fortune in taxes so someone can have a car, some kidz, an IPhone, and a new pair of 'Jordans... Come on. I don't really care what predicament someone managed to be themselves in during this life - I just don't want to pay for it. How did this/any nation ever survive without Welfare, Medicaid, etc... ?

- Obama... Don't like him none neither.

- People who leave their shopping cart to just roll around the lot like a tank destroyer on the supermarket parking lot and crash into my car.

- Apple selling iPhones in Iran.

Then:
They're just being their usual gooberly selves.

Bob

Not really sure if this was/is directed at me but I'm no goober, trust me on that.

It is possible to use the term "Murica" in terms of ones mentality towards anything, kinda like the much older term "ugly American";)

When my planned PVR recordings either get cut off or not recorded because of a live event that pre-empted it or a previous programming. That irks me a little.

I don't remember ever getting you in trouble. :)

Bob

I was teasing Bob

You have been nothing but helpful

After a few months I came to understand your style of humor and appreciate your fact based approach to asking questions

Now, I look forward to reading your posts....you are not a "meanie" at all

At the dealerships I work at we give out loaner cars. What I don't understand is why people have to bring them back with no gas, filthy dirty, and leave trash on the inside including half-eaten food and used tissues. I then get to clean them up. And these loaners range between $40,000-$100,000+ and yet people have no problem trashing them.

^^^IMHO: Abuse of a privilege.^^^

This is why almost every Dealership around my area rarely offers anything more than a Shuttle for auto-services that can last up to one business day.

Yeah, that guy in the cartoon is definitely worthy of ridicule. Especially with that yellow ribbon he's displaying.

My wife had a yellow ribbon around the tree in our front yard when I was deployed to Iraq from December 2003 thru February 2005.........Airborne Infantry!

Hey Derek, how about the sticker you saw and told me about, "Don't put MY flag on YOUR foreign car". That right there is Mega Murica:banghead:

You gave a year of your life, facing death everyday, for that flag, OUR flag! Its not any one persons right to determine who gets to put the flag on what kind of car a person is driving, ignorant:banghead:
