I have been using megs d151 on a white CCS pad on my Flex recently with great results. I tried a pink pad on a maroon minvan and noticed bad hazing so I went back to white. I am going to have two F150 trucks coming and I prefer to use the Rupes with them since there is miles of flat paint. I have 5.5" ccs pads I could use on the Rupes but I prefer to use the Rupes pads. I have all 4, i am leaning towards yellow or green, anyone wanna pick? Also, if you were going to do a one step correction with something like menz 2500 would you use the same pad? I have been using that followed by wolfgang spray sealant for my one step heavier corrections.

What colour are the trucks? Do they both need a lot of correction?

I would do a test spot between the green pad and yellow pad to see which gives the better result

I think the Rupes Yellow pad is notorious to be selected as a 1 stepper along with Sonax PF

I would probably go with the Yellow even with the Menz 2500. I've only worked on one F150 to date and it was soft/medium paint.

They are both F150's and I know one is a metallic blue, not sure of the other yet.

I've just ordered my Rupes 21 and pads (not arrived yet), however, from what I'm researching, the yellow pad must be the one to try first in the case you are relating.

Just my 0.0002$ since I'm yet to receive mine and haven't got any certain on what I'm suggesting.

Kind Regards.

I have used the green pad with rupes zephir with great results, I am not familiar with menz products ,but try the yellow first.

Well i guess yellow it is! Ill give that a shot, I think I just lined up a 3rd Ford, a 250 this time, of course in blue! Last month was 4 red vehicles, this month apparently it will be blue!
