What sealant and/or carnuba to keep a light silver car from taking on a green tint

Light coloured paint:
Lighter colour paints (i.e. Silver, White, etc (the exception is speed yellow) will never obtain jetting (the so called ‘wet-look’) of black or dark colours as they do not exhibit visible depth, light colours tends to refract light instead of reflecting it. You can obtain a good gloss provided the paint is good quality and if it’s prepared and detailed correctly; washed, cleaned, polished and a polymer sealant added (Zaino, Klasse AIO and SG, Jeffswerkstatt - Acrylic Jett ) these sealants will provide a flat silvery-white shine, but without ‘depth’. By adding a Carnauba wax as an LSP (Pinnacle Souverän Paste Carnauba or Autoglym Super Resin Polish) the oils that are formulated in the Carnauba waxes provide a reflective gloss, which causes jetting (a ‘wetting’ of the surface)

For optimal results the surface of a light coloured paint to show gloss is very much dependant upon good / excellent paint condition, adequately prepped to remove contaminants and minor imperfections. Detailer’s clay (Sonus SFX Ultra-Fine Detailing Clay Bar) and / or Paint cleaner (Zaino PC or Klasse AIO) should be a regular part of the preparation process.

The white car below has Liquid Souveran over Wolfgang DGPS. I think you can get a wet look on a lighter color car but not to the degree you can on a dark color car. This picture reminds me that I really need to clean up my garage.

Thanks for the complement BIG AL'S SS. A couple of years ago I remodeled my kitchen and put all the old cabinets in my Garage. The only problem is I have so much junk out there half the time I can't open the doors on the cabinets.

God I need to clean our garage, I can't even get one vehicle in right now lol, and I really need to redo my truck with a stripdown and start over.

One problem with living in Florida is there are no basements so a lot of junk goes out to the garage. I think half the people in Florida have junk in their garage and their cars sit outside.

Half?? I would venture to say at least 80%. I have a 2 car garage and can only fit 1 car in there, which is better than most people I know and have seen.

I never considered the lack of basement issue, but makes sense. In addition to 1/2 of my garage, I have a shed that is packed and is so disorganized

That's how you know you live in FL, when you have a huge garage, 5, 6+ car garage, yet all your cars are parked outside lol. At my old office there was a very large house on the water down the street, I'm talking 15+ thousand sqft. If I remember I think he had garages for 10 cars, yet they were almost always parked outside. Just a Phantom and a Lambo were the only ones I saw ever in the garage b/c of how much stuff they had.

I clean our garage and give it another month or two and somehow its packed with stuff again. Right now I have room to just walk through the middle lol.

Where I live, only the very old houses have any kind of basement, but they only have 1 car garages. I would say that any house built in the last 20-30 years don't have basements.

Our garage was full of junk, but when we bought our second car, I had everything thrown out (when my wife was at work so she couldn't stop me) so I could fit the 2nd car in there.

If I had a basement, I would probably convert it into a home theater room
