What sealant do YOU like best

Those who are claiming excessive dusting with Blackfire Wet Diamond need to figure out what is wrong with their technique. I use it on all four of my vehicles and have never seen any dusting let alone something that would qualify as excessive.

There will always be people who use way too much product. It takes less than 1/2oz of BFWD (or any other quality sealant) to cover a well prepped SUV, let alone car. BFWD is very forgiving when using too much, so its easy to see where people could go wrong and see dust.

If black fire wet diamond is dusting , you're using way too much product .

I can assure you that I know how to wax a car and their is nothing wrong with my technique. Do a little searching and you will find a video I made that shows the amount of dusting involved with BFWD.

Aren't we all supposed to be adults???? Let's start acting like it and get back to discussing detailing and not busting on each other.:nomore:

It seems like the holidays are affecting a few people, there are at least 3 other treads where people are just been plain childish...

I'm sure they will get over it soon...

That would be nice because I'm here to learn and trade ideas not read little pizzing matches.

All those "childish" threads have a common theme Romeo and frankly you're as guilty as anyone else. :nomore:

Well I guess it's off to another forum until you children can work out your differences or just let it go and get back to discussing detailing without your little attitudes.

Don't leave, just do what most do and ignore those comments...

I would have expected more from a Jeep guy...

If you're here to discuss products/techniques, give advice, and help out fellow forum members, great! If you're here to cause drama and argue about car wax (which I can't begin to understand why) then please take it to PMs or another forum. Not naming names, you guys know who you are. If you feel that strongly about detailing products that you'll resort to insulting people, maybe you should just step away from the computer and go detail your car.

Matt

Wow what in the world happened here??? I give my experience with a sealant and things blow up...

LOL didn't I say something would happen over the BFWD and dusting :D

Because of this thread , there are about 4 sealants I want to try .

The thing i m curious with the 3.0 and the 45 min wait time Is, won't dust accumulate or just things floating in the are stick to the sealant then cause scratches?
