Wookie fist is coming out, will think about getting that one as i dont need a full blown wookie. That is a pretty large commitment and dont think i can provide it enough affection yet LOLMine looks like a small Pomperanian and takes up 1/2 the bucket. Love the Wookie, but need a jr edition too.rops:

I use a microfiber chenelle style mitt bought directly from Korea
I was using the lambswool mitt and it feels very slick and soft when its full of suds, that being said, I got swirls shortly after using this mitt. I had done a two-step polish and my car seemed to be swirl-free. Within a few short weeks I started getting swirls. I don't know if I should blame myself, the mitt, or my guzzler towels. I thought I followed all the proper wash techniques, it would seem my equipment or I failed somewhere. Additionally, the mitt didn't last more than 10 washes, which in itself was disappointing. I had high hopes for the mitt, hence my disappointment.
Now I switched to the Schmitt. It should be arriving tomorrow and I can't wait to try it out. Gary uses it for his exotics and said they haven't left any swirls in his paint. I figure its worth a shot. I just better brush up on proper washing techniques to ensure I'm not making a mistake.
Thanks for the recommendation I'm looking forward to using these. That's what I use. Just bought two more for this season's car washing...
Use it for ONR washes and for traditional washes.
Let it soak in water for a bit before using it to soften it up a bit.
I love these sponges.

Don't let it happen...just wouldn't be reasonable, just wouldn't be prudent
This is my favorite. I also like the Ulti Mitt and SH mitt. I will try Boars Hair this weekend weather permitting. I bought the Montana BH Round and the GG.
There's a few videos for you to watch if you haven't seen them already:
That was the first video I saw relating to car washing.
Mike Phillips, :urtheman: He is a true detail guru.
Thanks for the vid.
If you want a good laugh, watch this video on how to wash your
Watch how many times he lets the hose end hit the car as he is "beautifying" it. Expert Village, LOL.
Thats too bad it isn't working for you. I assume you are putting the brush in the water and shaking the dirt out (in the water)? Then I use a bucket that has a perforated shelf in it. I wipe the bristles over the shelf to knock anything else out of the brush. then proceed back to the paint. I have 2 white cars and 1 red. Maybe I am not seeing the swirls as easily as your black car (from your avatar), but, I am not seeing many. I think I get more from wiping down with detail spray and/or rinseless wash than from my boars hair.I have the montana brush

I have to go back and watch that video sometimes just for a laugh. "This is going to be like a brand new car." Thud, thud, thud. Yeah, now that's it's washed, we can see all those dents a whole lot better now, can't we? :nomore::laughing:
