hey guys,

what spray wax do you use for the lowest package that contains a wax? I don't only want to decide on price, but also on ease of use.
I don't want it to last to long, or I won't see my clients for a while :D
It can be a wax, but a sealant is also good, but it should give some nice beading, and preferably available in bulk, but that last one is not a must.

thanks guys

thanks, I was looking at that one. how long does it last?

I was going to suggest CG's P40. It's a quick detailer with carnuba and looks good without streaks, when used sparingly. I don't think it lasts more than a week or two and it's a little cheaper. Having said that, OCW is my favorite.

Optimum car wax will give 2-3 months durability and is a breeze to apply.

Griots spray on wax, leaves a slick and shiny finish, and it doesn't last long, 2-3 weeks in our weather condition here.

Just to complicate things I feel the need to suggest something not mentioned already. I really like the look of Blackfire Wet Diamond Polymer spray and it seems to last about a week on my truck.

Eagle One Wax as you dry .

Streaks and lasts 2 days.

This means your customers will be back very soon. :)

Go to big lots, I bought 2 bottles of some spray wax 3 bucks ea. This is what the lowest package gets. The next pkg gets Optiminum. After that its machine applied or hand applied and goes into higher prices. I like and use, Poxy (highest level as Poxy has a sealant) then 3M performance, then megs Carnauba gold (my least favorite so far)

Megs D156 is my go to on my express exterior I offer.

Lucas Slick Mist. Good gloss, slick and easy to apply. Slick Mist has every attribute a good "topper" should have. It will reduce your work and time because it can also be used as a drying aid after rinse, as well as a "topper" on a dry car. You will love the bubble gum smell too.

Slick Mist can be found at all auto stores and even discount chains making it one of the most convenient detailing products to locate and buy. The bonus is that it is as versatile and does everything AquaWax does but is even cheaper, in fact, it is one of the cheapest gloss enhancers of all and comes in a sturdy, 24oz spray bottle. I consider it a bargain.

"Gloss enhancer" is what the Lucas website calls it although the full name is Lucas Slick Mist Speed Wax. To tell you the truth, I don't think it contains any wax at all (nor does AquaWax for that matter). It may be a sealant or some sort of juiced up QD, I'm not sure because the website is vague with only this "gloss enhancer" description. I have become a big fan of this product and although I am not sure what it is exactly, I know it works!

I would've said Optimum Car Wax but it's too finicky for production detailing.

I haven't tried CarPro Hydro2 yet but I've read amazing reviews on it and it's simplicity. I have a liter bottle on order and I'll post my findings

Duragloss Aquawax. Haven't tried D156 yet..

Actually I changed my mind. Grab a gallon of duragloss rinseless and dilute it to quick detailer ratio. It has wax in it and beads great, not super long lasting but I would say a few weeks tops. One gallon would make 810 oz of product.
