I was hoping to apply some UIGP this weekend. What is the lowest temp this product can be applied at? I could not find any references in the instructions.
I would imagine that lower temps will slow the dry & cure time, but how low is too low?
Just start the vehicle up and let it get warm inside. It doesn't need very long at all. I have applied it at around 35 and have not had any issue. You use so little product to begin with that it basically flashes away instantly.
Well I did my whole interior minus the leather last night using wolfgang cockpit trim sealant for the first time (which, by the way, is absolutely awesome!) with the garage being in the lower 40s overnight and it seemed to cure fine by the morning if that helps?
Thanks guys. We got a warm spell today and it was a high of about 60 when I applied it. Good to know that I can apply at lower temps if needed. I won't be able to count on many warm days here in Michigan for the next several months.
My first time using UIGP. Went on very easy. I may have used too much, but it is hard to say. It wasn't always easy to determine when to apply more to the applicator. Regardless it seems like I used 5x more misting the upholstery on the two front seats than I did the entire dash and door panels.
