well here is what i bought....

XMT light swirl remover kit
XMT #3
Liquid Souverian
2 Grit Gaurds
5" backing plate

Looks like you are on the right track! Take your time, and don't use to much product. A little tip, spray your pad (a very light spray) with water (I use DI water), QD, or XMT polishing pad conditioner. This will keep you from dry buffing.

:applause: Excellent starter kit!! I know you will be very pleased with it. Here's a polishing tip for you. Take a digital kitchen timer out with you when you go. Set it for 5 minutes and start it after you've spread the polish and are ready to kick up the speed.
