The exhaust pipes on my 2010 Camaro protrude a little bit in the rear so I'd like to clean and shine them up very nicely as well. I have some Poorboy's APC, would that be good for the exhaust pipes or should I use something else?

One of my favorites.

The Wenol Metal Polishes work great for polishing Exhaust Tips.

the trick is to use 0000 Steel Wool with a metal polish ...

Eagle One is made in Lexington? Or just Never Dull?

Anyways, hello fellow Kentuckian - Go Cats! UK2K.

Eagle one! Look at the labels next time and you will see made in Lex, KY. Awesome to se another Kentuckian on board! John Wall is God!!! 2k!

P21s Polishing Soap on #0000 works great. Collinite 850 Metal Wax is also very good. The compenation together works really good.

Quick question - what are OEM tailpipes (polished chrome look) usually made of? Uncoated aluminum, stainless steel, something else?

I have a pair on my 2010 Acura TSX. They are starting to get dirty as well.

Since the car is so new, any metal polish should work very well. But as mentioned, using #0000 steel wool with metal polish yields great results. I prefer Menzerna, Wolfgang, and Wenol metal polishes. Mothers is also great, especially for the low cost.

Factory exhaust tips are almost always stainless steel or chrome. If they were uncoated aluminum, they would dull almost instantly due to the heat and carbon buildup.

I generally use either Flitz or Mother's chrome polish on exhaust tips with a microfiber applicator. If they aren't in bad shape, I use any AIO like XMT360 or Mother's chrome polish. I really don't like using steel wool for anything though.

I just used mothers and #0000 the other day and they came out great .
