what to do with old buffing padd

Foam pads? Dressing applicators, cut up for hand polishing tight spots, demote to wheel barrels or exhaust tips.

Same with me. I used to also try to make 1" and 2" pads out of them for use with my little pneumatic polisher before LC started making them.

I'm just getting started with DA work. How do you determine when a pad is worn out or ready to be recycled?

Frayed edges, tears, pad surface starts looking fuzzy or starts going concave, melt the velcro backing.

I take my used wool pads and use them as wash mitts. They do a phenomenal job agitating any contaminants on the clearcoat. 👻

Save them for the Detailing Museum that will be opening at Ronkh's place soon.

you can use it on the glass patio door (ours get exposed to water spots since we spray down the back patio every so often), or any other ones that may need a good polishing and then toss it after your done...
