I have some products that I will not use. I know it's not good to just throw them in the trash (environmental blah blah). How do you dispose of such stuff? TIA

Give them to a friend or neighbor, maybe ask fellow car club members if anyone would use them. Plenty of ways to get rid of good stuff you don't want

I have a few friends I will give things to. They are not like most of us, but they take good care of there cars. Plus that way they owe me one!

If you can't give away the stuff, you can legally trash them as household haz waste or many municipalities will have a hazmat drop off day.
If I can't give it away, I just trash it. Landfills are sealed now days so there should be no leaching issue. Plus as hazmat (depending on the the classification) it'll either be incinerated, dumped into water and treated by the city, or go to a landfill anyway. It just costs the tax payers more in disposal for the latter 2. I've worked those hazmat days and worked bulking chemicals for disposal.
I got some perfectly good unopened bottles of Redline gear oil from one.

Send them to Jimmy Vegas. He'll try anything!!! :p

post them in the ' samples thread ' where someone can try them out so they don't go to waste...

I donate them to the local High Schools
and/or Career Technical Centers that offer
automotive related curriculum.
