I find using 1000, 1500 ad 3000. Using a rotary and wool pad. Does a lot of correction.
Then just seal it, to protect your work.

I just wanna do a simple wetsand followed with m105 m205 then a plast x sealant. Something simple and fairly quick for an easy $40-60 for both headlights done
thanks everyone for the info helped out a lot, another quick question how good is the m105 and m205 on the paint? Im looking for something that cuts faster and stronger
Bad thing or good thing? Lol I have a lot of experience with paint correctingThat's a great combo, but IMO M101 works better for a noobie.
IMO both 105 and 205 is the best combo for paint.
Meg's now sells the 8oz bottles for a good price, you get to try it out for yourself before buying the large bottles.
5 Star products on both.
Give it a try, I just know you'll love the combo![]()

I've been researching it I'll prolly just buy the 32oz bottle I found both for $51
After trying to use a couple of the kits with the drill attachment, and not having any real success, i bought the Meguiar's headlight and spot repair kit. I was amazed that I could use my 3" Griot's polisher with the various Meg's papers and clear the lenses up so well. The kit comes with 105 that gets used on a wool pad followed by 205 on a foam pad. Then top or seal with your favorite product. Headlights come out looking better than new every time. Hope this helps. Rt
dang ya thats the cheapest I found lol$51.00 for both is really a good price, I pay close to $30.00 just for one bottle,105 costing more.
Can't tell you how many times the 105 saved my butt.
ok I will thanksDo some research on fg400!!
I prefer it over 105 and it finishes out nice
I might just get the $35 kit from walmart since I dont do too many headlights yet lolTHIS!!!!!
By far, the Megs kit is the most comprehensive and does the best job overall of anything else out there. And at only $125 less whatever sale discount is going on it's a steal.
Add to that a syringe of Opti-Lens and you're looking at getting them done as good as it's going to get. OL isn't cheap, but syringe is said to do up to 5~6 up to 8 pairs of lights. After discounts the total cost is in the $6.00~$8.00 per pair of headlights. That's not bad at all. Now if you get the 40ml syringe from Optimum you'll be doing more like 25~30 pairs of lights EASILY and your end cost will be half as much per pair. :dblthumb2:
Honestly, to go to all the trouble to wet sand, dry sand, compound, polish, PlastiX, seal, or whatever else and NOT top it off with Opti-Lens just doesn't make sense when you think of how quickly the lenses will yellow out. Jus' sayin'..... :dunno:
