So I have some options on what I am going to use for the next time I need to clay my car, truck, or SUV. I can use either of the following options:

1. Optimum No Rinse (diluted 2 oz to a gallon as directed)
2. Ultima Waterless Wash Plus+ (diluted as directed)
3. Meguiar's Last Touch (Diluted 1:1 as directed)
4. A "generic" Meguiar's or Mother's spray detailer that came with the old clay bar kits

I am leaning toward using the Last Touch diluted 1:1 because the lubricity of the formula lends itself to clay bars (so I've heard.) I wanted to get everyone's opinion on what you think would work best. Cost effective is important, but using quality products that perform the best is the most important for me. I don't detail for a living - I spend my living detailing! Any and all thoughts are welcome and encouraged! Thank you in advance.

I have all 3 of them. I find myself going back to the Last Touch every time

I use Ultima Waterless Wash Plus+ as my go to clay lube. Haven't found/used anything that works better & is more cost efficient. ONR would be my second choice.

:iagree:

I used to use ONR but after buying UWW+ it became my go-to lube.
Note: I never used Last Touch.

I still like ONR at 1:16 but I am a hobbyist so no high volume work here.

Either way they are all a great value. You are looking at roughly 8 cents for last touch and 3 cents for UWW+ and ONR (2 cents is you buy by the gallon) per useable ounce. For the average use that is an extremely negligible difference.

I make up a mix of gallon of water w/ 4 oz of rinseless wash and it does the trick.

I have Megs LT and UWW+. Use LT for clay lube and UWW+ for spot cleaning or dust wipe downs.

Some awesome suggestions on here, but if you are buying bulk and diluting yourself (crazy not too!), your going to need a good bottle!

I finally bought a bunch of these Kwazars, trust me, you cannot go back after trying these bad boys!

ps- I use ONR

I use Meguiars Final Inspection M34 and have had no issues. I like the lubricity of M34

I use Meguiar's Last Touch from time to time, but in my opinion the easiest way to clay bar is with car wash soap after you have washed the vehicle. then either rinse or do a quick re-wash.
