What to use on exterior trim?

I've been very impressed with WETS (Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant); I presume UTTG+ is similar. .....

I find both UTTGP and WG ETS to be VERY similar. They surely smell darned close to one another. If the WG 'cockpit' sealant smells anywhere near the same I'd surely not be able to stand it on interior surfaces. :dunno: Now 303 has proven to be a huge favorite for interior surfaces though.

Saw a mention of PERL earlier. I used it a couple of months ago to bring back to life a TERRIBLY dried out hard tonneau cover. It was one of those aluminum reinforced roll up units on a pickup bed. Looked like he'd never put anything on it since new in 2008. Faded, even brittle in places. I scrubbed it down well, foamed it a few times, then went back with PERL @ 1:3 with a heavy coating and spreading it out with a thin cheap microfiber. After two applications it looked really awesome.

I went back to check it 36 hours later and took more with me to do a final touch up on it. Haven't done anything else to it since then, (the owner just considers it a work truck) but it's holding up pretty good. (Does need a bit of refreshing though.)
