Google 3/4" forestry fire hose. It rolls flat, I keep 100' on a hand cord reel! Very light, very, very durable. Only down fall is it does have a tendency to kink with lower water pressure. On the plus side, it's good for 200+ psi. Cost is about the same with standard high quality hose.
Got a picture? I've used the XHose, great idea but the quality construction I can see myself easily breaking.
OK! so the craftsman hoses are popular. not something I am considering though. Remember small area to work. The coiled hose is what I am leaning towards. Pressure is a concern, but I do the initial spray off outside and then I would use the coiled hose for a rinse with the nozzle all the way open on a soaker setting. Should a coiled hose pressure be sufficient for that?
I've used those forestry hose lines when I was in the fire service. They were great. They were a pain to reload in the small compartment we kept them in. FH Mike..how do you recommend storing them. Do you roll them like a regular fire hose? I would think putting them on a reel would be ideal.
I keep 2-50' rolls on a plastic cord reel. Lay it out and just roll it up! Water drains out and it lays flat on the reel. I keep brass QC fittings on it for quick hookups to my tank pump or PW.

I have an always kink...Oops I mean neverkink from lowes. 75 ft. It's decent. For $30 bucks it's ok but does kink quite often.
The reviews on that X hose on Amazon are pitiful. I'm very glad yours works. My brother in law gave me the DAP shrinking hose and I have to say so far it's worked great. I thought I'd break the plastic end but so far so good. It doesn't move as much water as I'm accustomed to but they do have a larger diameter hose available with brass fittings. Sure makes pick up quick. The thing puts itself away when I bleed off the water. It's not very long but works for my set up. I could see others needing something longer or double up.
anyone ever used a coil hose or one of the flexzilla hoses?
