What was your first detailing mistake/error?

Forgot to use 3m automotive tape to tape off the car, while using my flex 3401 using Meguiars 105, 205, on a black car. Big mistake. FYI, Automotive tape should be included, in the packages DA combo packages.

Once I used a normal tape, instead of the blue scotch or the 233+........
Big big mistake also..... 3+ hours on the detailing removing all the residue it left.

Scratch was gone, was happy, now its time to get out the wet sanding marks. End result, not enough clear coat. Glad it was my car, found AG after that and smacked myself a bunch.
