I have eruption green mach1 the car has matt black hood stripe .Is there a wax that will work for both the paint and the stripe . I am worried that the stripe would turn white if i use the wrong wax .Help.

You may be able to use a ceramic spray of some kind like the Wolfgang Spray or Sonax ceramic on both. You definitely don't want to mess up the stripe.

I've been really enjoying the Optimum line for all my protective needs.

If you're looking for a carnauba based wax, their Car Wax spray wax would do the trick. If it were me, I'd probably lay down Hyper Seal, or Opti-Seal, and put car wax over it.

I wouldn't overthink it too much between the paint and the strips typically a good wax can be used on any hard exterior surface save plastic.

If a classic wax is what you want, as mentioned already, the Optimum Car Wax is a legit carnauba based wax that is also incredibly easy to use. If you want a more nostalgic install experience I would get a container of Collinite No.915. At one point(and may still be the case) it had the highest concentration of natural carnauba wax. So it was claimed. The single container will also serve the single vehicle for many, many years.

I'm not sure how the 915 would play with the matte black stripes. I haven't tried a paste wax on a matte finish.
