lol i dont mind it! i found with tight spokes like that, the daytona brush can clean them up pretty quick when you push it in between to clean the back.
 
Either mesh or the 6 spoke and up units. Perhaps you can find some OEM Rays as pulloffs, they are strong and light.

OTOH 3 ~ 5 on Kinalyx's post are all nice.
 
I like the first ones best.

All three are a big improvement on what you currently have IMO, though I'm not sure about the red stripe...
