What will Mark (07 z-oh-6) think of the "NEW" Power Clean

thats the one thing I have problems with is the price. Especially since you only dilute it up to 3:1 so your not getting much for your money compared to APC+ granted you can use it on leather and paint..but does that really make it worth 3x the price and you get MUCH less out of it vs APC+ I guess i will see how I like it. So far I cleaned my tires from old dressing with 3:1 and wasnt to impressed with it on them. I think it would be much easier to swallow the price if it was like $20
I use APC+ on everything with 2 exceptions. So, the answer in my opinion is to have both. APC+ is much more economical and just as effective in most areas IME. OPC however is safe for leather (APC+ is not recommended for leather by Meguiar's). I also trust the OPC on any other parts I consider sensitive.

I love the OPC for leather though - made that job WAY easier.

I have had a gallon of APC+ for a while but I just kinda wanted to see what all the talk about OPC was..i dont have leather so that part never really made any difference to me.

There was no point in making an APC copy, Dr G wants his products to fill an niche others miss. Making Power Clean safe for leathers and paints sets it apart, but higher quality chemistry that makes that possible is also more expensive. My suggestion is to use the cheaper products where suitable and use Power Clean on more "important" parts if you are trying to keep costs per car down.

I use OPC on lower panels at 8:1 and carpets at 20:1 like a traffic lane cleaner. You can play with it any way you like. It's very effective at most any dilution with a little agitation. On brown tires or tires with layers of build up, I would go straight or 1:1.
