I got an email last night from a highway construction company. I have never done a fleet account before so I'm here asking:xyxthumbs: All they want done is the cab and just a spray down of the rest.

Heres the senarios

1- basic wash & interior every 2 weeks
2- Basic wash & interior once a month

And then a wax job every 3 months.

What would you charge them? You can see the inside is dirty on the ground. I'm sure this will all be done at there location.

For just a basic wash and basic interior, (vacume, wipe down) I'm thinking somewhere along the line of $35 per vehicle. These are not show cars, and keep in mind, they just want the cab done.

You could bust out the three vehicles in about an hour, or a little above an hour, and make $105.

how many vehicles? just 3 pictured? or is there more... i ask cause i think it depends on the # of vehicles also.

I say charge 60 each for the initial clean ups, then 35 each after that, and maybe 45 each for the job that will include the wax.

If they think that's unreasonable then work with them.

I would suggest that you offer them a paint coating like Gtechniq C1, C.Quartz or Opti-Coat. You could charge them more upfront but then it would be a lot easier to keep clean.

I sure hope I get it I could use the money
.
Even if I came down on the price.

Depends on exactly how good they want them to look. There will be loads of road tar to remove for sure. I would go with an hourly rate. This company is making major dinero paving Interstates Im the MAN

I would not walk away from this account based on $$$ at all costs.
