What's best for glass?

MikeyC...Yes, that's the one.

now how did I miss that???? duh!!!

I just picked up some Stoners at Wal-mart yesterday in the can and spray bottle. Wow! I had to use a newspaper though because all my microfibers were leaving lint on the windshield (costco yellow, white wal-mart waffle weave in kitchen section, blue cobra buffing). Looked like little fiberglass splinters.

Followed that up with AIO. What a difference!

I would also clay windows if necessary. I clay my windshield every other month.

me too..all the glass........;)

I start by cleaning the glass with a 50/50 mix of water alcohol. Then I've had good suscess with a product similar to Rain X called Anti-Rain from a German company called Gollit. (BTW, they make what is, IMO the very best leather/plastics cleaner polish called Diamante...but I stray from topic) For in between cleanings, which is just about daily, simply water from a spray bottle and a MF does the trick. To reinforce the Anti-Rain product, I use something called Duragloss RR (Rain Repel). Cleans fast. No streaking and for the very rare occasion when we actually get rain in Phoenix, works like a charm. To the point where wipers are oten not even necessary.

wow - what a lot to learn here...but my walmart sure did not have anything left!!! hmmpphh!!! wish they'd stock it. i will go look in auto zone! :-)

Think on a three month old car there is benefit to claying the windows? And is there a required next step? I am thinking I will do my husband's van windows. ??

A GOOD GLASS CLEANER........STONERS INVISIBLE GLASS CLEANER IS A GOOD ONE AS THERE ARE MANY MORE;)

I use an alcohol based glass cleaner used by picture framers follwed by DP. The alcohol cleaner cleans better but leaves a film after a few days. By using the DP afterwards I don't get the film. I find most products look great the first day but the real test is how they look a few days later.

I found Stoner's tonight. I will try it this weekend. Thanks!! And I am going to clay the van's windshield.

Has anybody ever tried Megs Glass Cleaner Concetrate? I'm thinking of using this on customer cars since I'll never have to worry about running out.
