Whats better then Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant 3.0?

A real wax is going to look best on an older car. That glow can't be matched with a sealant.

I've found that diluting with distilled water helps eliminate streaking. I current use 3 oz of endless shine, 2 oz of Rupes 808, and about 11 oz distilled water. This combination works great and I get zero streaking. I accidentally grabbed the Endless Shine bottle today that was actually full strength Endless Shine and I definitely had streaking.
 
So I've got some CG Jetseal that was given to me as gift...how does that compare to WGDGPS 3.0? Tried searching here and just generalized Google search and didn't find anything on these 2. I did find a comparison between 3.0 and megs m21 2.0. Thoughts welcome from the more experienced

Completely agree, I don't use window cleaners anymore I even use the WG mixture on my home windows and use it to do interior wipedowns, etc. Awesome stuff.

I had this same problem with my newly coated vehicles. A member on here suggested a home brew that he made and I LOVE IT!! I am crazy ocd about my dark grey and black suv's . I have been using this stuff for a couple weeks and love it. For reference, my cars are garage kept and rarely get dirty enough for a full wash. I QD both about 3 times a week. I Used a rinseless wash if its pretty dirty and only do a full wash about every 2 or 3 weeks. The guy called it "Blue Juice" and I mix it the following way.

Ech20 mixed at 20:1
I use 32oz spray bottles so I put 28oz of the 20:1 Ech20 and then add 3 oz of reload.

I get no streaks and it is a great coating topper.

That's what I did for winter, with a layer of Poorboy's Black Hole Glaze sandwiched between. No idea if the glaze will affect WDGPS 3.0 longevity, so I wanted a base layer to fall back on. About 3 weeks out very slick with tight beading.

What was the source of that water? Rain, hose nozzle, spray bottle?
 
I watched some Mike Phillips' videos where he used some Wolfgang products and I decided to try the Swirl Remover and the Deep Gloss Sealant. Now I am hooked. When I started detailing cars as a kid in the 70s, I used paste waxes like Kit, Rally or Simonize. Then I got into the liquid waxes like Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax. After using the Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant this weekend, I will never use anything else. It went on easily and came off easily and left a high gloss, slick shine. Let's see how long it lasts.

Are you going to wax over it or see how it goes without wax?
 
I still use megs purple synthetic sealant. Is Wolfgang that much better? I get megs sealant by the half gal for 40 bucks

Actually Chris it looks great without the wax. It has a high gloss and the surface is extremely slick. It is supposed to last longer than a standard Carnauba wax. I wanted to get this done before we get hit with the New England winter. The wife's car is the next project.

I topped mine with Collonite 845 because, well, I enjoy doing it. ;)

This has not been my experience.

Off the top of my head here's a list of safe waxes and sealants that can dry on plastic and rubber trim WITHOUT staining.....
HD Poxy, HD Speed, Opti-seal, Poli-seal, Optimum Car Wax, Wolfgang Fuzion Past Wax, Wolfgang Deep Gloss liquid Seal, Mckee's Trademark Wax, Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax, D156, Pinnacle Souveran, Carpro Reload, Sonax Polymer Net Shield, Turtle Wax ICE

Here is the list of sealants that CAN and likely WILL stain trim if allow to dry.....
Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant, Jescar Powerlock, FK1000p, Blackfire Wet Diamond, Mckee's Hi Def Paint Sealant, Mckee's Poli-coat Paint Sealant, Sonus SFX Paint Sealant, Meguiar M21 Synthetic Sealant, Rejex Paint Sealant, Klasse AIO

When using these sealants try to use a dedicated trim sealant like Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant before sealing the paint. On sealants that I worry may stain, I simply use the wipe on and immediately wipe off method. In my experience, if you're wiping these sealants off before they are allowed to dry you really shouldn't experience any staining or "chalking". Unfortunately, many times we don't realize we bumped a trim piece until a few days later once the damage has been done.
 
I've been using WG for nearly 8 years. I'll never change that. I use FK-425 as a QD will good results.
