whats comparable to 85rd?

Am looking for something that is very close to 85rd since it is currently unavailable and would like to place an order soon. I am looking for something to use after m205 that works as well as 85rd.
 
sv cleaner fluid regular. wolfs wp-1n.both amazing.
 
I just bought some PO85RD and 106FA...from what everyone has been telling me 106FA has more cut but finishes down close to PO85RD. What exactly are you looking for? Something that doesn't cost as much? Something that finishes down the same or better? Like Enrique said, others have also suggest 3M Ultrafina. Its discussed alittle in a thread I posted:

Was pretty much just looking for something that is very similar, if not better only reason i was looking for something else is because autogeek is currently sold out of PO85rd.
 
I bought a gallon of Ultrafina cause people were raving about it. My mistake! After a couple uses I won't ever use it again. if you would like some I'm sure we can work a trade.
 
I used 3m ultrafina a couple times when i worked for a dealership and was never as happy with the results either thanks for the offer though.
 
For jeweling 85rd is amazing. 3M Ultrafina is also very good. What didn't you like about 3m UF?

I guess i kind of worded it wrong it wasnt that i didnt like the 3m just wasnt as satisfied as i am with the 85rd.
 
What did you not like about Ultrafina and were you using a rotary?

off topic but...did anyone notice they raised the price of 85RD +$5, use to be $35 but now $40 (after their automatic "sale discount")

Yep using a rotary. It has too much of a sweet spot in its use and you have to stay right there in that spot. 85rd allows you to get away with more and it doesn't have near the ability to hide as UF does.
 
Ya I like Ultrafina, but it does have that sweet spot and hides a lot. I use the Automagic Version, which is identical and it is listed as a finishing polish/glaze. I do love how easy it is to remove though. I like PO85RD but find it can take a lot to wipe off which can lead to towel induced swirls. I usually wipe it off with GG Polish Oil remover after getting the initial stuff off.

The only other product that is compariable to 85RD is the P106. I do like that polish as well, there is a little difference between how they finish, but I sometimes need a little more cut than the 85 offers. I would recommend the P106 for sure. It still finishes very well.

I noticed too. I was going to buy it at the $35 mark, but I still had WGFG left. I look back, and it's now $40. But whatever, as long as I get the best results! :)
