What's missing in your detailing arsenal?

Oh, since we're talking big item tickets, I've gotta go with a foam gun, extractor, blower and a nice set of halogen lights
As for more waxes; jetseal, ez creme glaze...

Yes, I can see how someone would want to use just one tool for everything, I just don't see it as practical. For start how much of an area I am working on with 3" pad I can see when shroud of Flex is bigger than 3"?

It also might be just me having different approach to things, as for spot buffing I plan on switching to different tool, 2" one though (I personally find 4" pads too big for my taste and 3" ones while better still on the big side). So for me it is 6.5" pads (which Flex already accomodates), 5.5" pads (which Flex already accomodates), or 2" pads (and I find Flex wrong choice to use with both 2" and 3").

I would like to be able to use the 3 inch pads for the system one on head lights and the like

I understand. I just have a different approach to things. I already am using 3" pads for polishing headlights for several months now. Purchased polisher designed with 3" backing plate. No waiting for the adapter, no money spent on the adapter. When it is more appropriate I change polisher instead of changing the adapter.

I have a UDM and a PC and also a 7428 rotory . My PC is setup for carpets and MY UDM I maybe giving to my brother for his cars so I want to use the mostly the FLE and My rotory for most paint work so I like to have the added the Flexability between them. I would rather have 1 adapter to use the multiple pads sizes between the 2 machines
