First post....This is a great forum. I have been picky about my vehicles for years and always kept them clean but this forum has increased my OCDness.
I spent this weekend detailing the wifes silver 2012 Toyota Camry. Followed Mike's advise on one of his videos and did the following
wash / Blackfire clay bar / Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover / Wolfgang Finishing Glaze / Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant. All applied with GG 6" DA.
Car came out spectacular. The best its looked in years. The baggie test before and after was amazing.
First question is, it took me 12-13 hours to complete. I wasn't rushing but just steady buffing. What is the average time people spent when doing these amount of steps?
Second question, should I add another coat of WDGPS?
Final question (for now), in 4-5 months from now what should I expect? (i.e. Will I have to clay again or just recoat with WDGPS? How many steps will I have to repeat? What do I look for?)
Next project will be 2016 ruby red metallic F150. This might take me 2 weekends.
