I am looking for the best and easiest Clay bar to use. Any suggestions my fellow car enthusiast?

The nanoskin clay mitt or clay eraser is easy to use

I'm looking forward to trying the Blackfire clay. Right now I use the Nanoskin towels and I love them. They cut down on my working time drastically

Thanks for the tips. I have heard a lot about the nanoskin. May try that. I also didn't know black fire made one. Heck maybe I'll buy them both and try them out.

How do the towels work?

With magic and rainbow power. No seriously... they work 10x faster than clay and don't harden in cold temps. Plus you can use them on more vehicles and are washable. I just started using a Nanoskin mild mitt and I love it.

I have a 6" pad I use on my pc and will be getting a towel soon also. Awesome products. Bye bye clay!

Blackfire clay works very well, a little hard to work with at first but it gets easier and you work with it.
They give you like 200 grams:dblthumb2:

nano skin on da no more kneading clay and worrying about dropping it.
love it

Glad you like it:dblthumb2:

Myself I'm still using the clay from years past.
Hard to change this old dude. Lol
I've read though like you others loves it.

Do you find it faster and easier using a machine to clay?

Looks like I am gonna seriously have to try this nano skin. I'm sold just from the comments. Thanks everyone.

much much faster and alot easier. kneading that clay is a pain.
dont get me wrong clay works great but nanoskin on the da works just as good if not better.
i have not tried the towels so i cant comment on them but it seems like ever one else likes them.besides it seems much cheaper especially with the glide u can dilute it. it goes a long way

I use the nanoskin sponge and its awesome. Ill have to try the wash mitt when the sponges are done with.

Riccardo for finesse
Nanoskin with their lubrication agent for heavy work.

Machine or by hand...Nanoskin.One draw back is it`s not good for pics. to show contamination.LOL.

When I used clay bars - Clay Magic was best by far, and I found some at an NAPA Paint Supply store. Mother's is way better than Meguiars imo - it's more pliable and moves over the finish nicely, easy to fold over and over again.

The Nanoskin Autoscrub Fine Grade 6" pad for the DA polisher is awesome -- I also got the smaller medium grade sponge (cheaper, manual use) but have yet to use it. Doing the thin plastic bag test, I get the same results with one as I do the other. But, the Nanoskin is way faster, and no big deal if it's dropped. Rather hard to keep that clay from flipping out of your hand at some point. The Nanoskin lasts a lot longer. (Use it with LOTS of detail spray, or your favorite "detail juice".)

What about when you clay your rims? can the sponge in there? how about the towel?
worried about the smaller hard to reach places
thanks

In the USA, a clay bar is a clay bar. the only difference is the grade. It does not matter if a certain company sells it.. All companies buy from the same place and label it their own.
