what's the last car care/detailing video you've just watched?

Didn't you try Idrosave in your Frankendetailer? I thought you might be considering it at least but perhaps the leave-behind protection would mess up the detailer?

I thought we talked about it but could also be losing my mind.

I watch several videos yesterday but skipped a new Pan video doing a demo on his rinseless with Yvan.

As I write, the next door neighbors are getting their vehicles washed by the usual man and women team. The pressure washer is noticeable for 7:30 on a Sunday morning. They usually do it on Saturday but likely got behind due to rain over the last week.

So what's your analysis of their process/technique?

I hate doing this to neighbors but when it's all sunshine all the time, sometimes I'm starting at 7am or 8pm sometimes. I'm actually expecting a complaint now at 8pm more than at 7am around here with so many kids under 10.

I watched a clip of Pan's new towel and it all just looks so fake. I'm sure it's a fine towel but car never looked dirty, his hand movements looked way too staged. Just annoying. And good news, sounds like they all just shot a bunch of new content this week that we'll be flooded with soon.

This is a good video. I have been instinctly doing something like what he calls "scrubbing".

Can't wait to try my hercules however, no stalling!!

edit: High praise for P&S Rehab. I've been eyeballing it for months lol. Its made with 3D abrasives FYI. Which are world class.

Interesting, but it probably won't make it here, and I wonder what it would cost if it did.

It is available in the states.

You guys get everything!

The van has the word "Painting" on the side. It is obvious from van interior detailing is a side job.

Likely a husband and wife team. They pre-spray the vehicles with a pump sprayer. They wipe down as if doing a rinseless process out of one bucket. The wash media seems to be mid size microfiber towels. Tires done last. Then come back with a pressure washer to spray entire vehicles and then dry. The women does most of the washing except roofs since she is short and the man operates the gas powered pressure washer. They are on a two week Saturday cycle and vehicles are never really dirty. I do not see much interior work and have no heard a vacuum cleaner but plan to watch more carefully next time. It is always in morning (7am or later) and mostly in sun. Takes about 1.5 hours. I am always up but wife is still asleep so she gets to be annoyed by pressure washer.

The ShineMate instantly caught my attention. Seems he really likes them after several years of use.
