what's the last car care/detailing video you've just watched?

If i could get one of those Hercules machines in Canada, i probably would. Never tried force before. Barjack plans to make one too but i doubt it will be as cheap as HF. They are making one that spins clockwise.
Interestingly enough, we still have some mfgs out there not going cordless. I missed these but as a hobbyist, less maintenance isn't a selling point when I use my polishers 2-3x a year max.

This is more watchable and still fully understandable if you increase the speed to 1.5x since he speaks in a slow and halting style.

The claims are not unexpected such how can you trust subscriber and view data.

Boy I wish I had known about before.

I guess the biggest question I have after all that is...when he was talking about content creators being required by YT Terms & Conditions to disclose if they are being paid to promote a product, I think he used the term "showcasing" in the same sentence with "promotion". When I have heard The Guz use the term showcasing, I thought that was just a colloquialism, but is that a YouTube term indicating that that the YouTuber is receiving free product or compensation for their "review"? Does anyone know the answer to that?

I found this. People have posted videos discussing the topic. As I read some comments, it requires two aspects for reviews from free products - disclosure in video, marked as paid promotion when uploaded (this from google AI)

Add paid product placements, sponsorships & endorsements

You may include paid product placements, endorsements, sponsorships, or other content that requires disclosure to viewers in your videos. You have to let us know if you include any of those by selecting the paid promotion box in your video details.

All paid promotions need to follow Google Ads policies and YouTube's Community Guidelines. You and the brands you work with are responsible for understanding and complying with local and legal obligations to disclose Paid Promotion in their content. Some of these obligations include when and how to disclose, and to whom to disclose.

It was a joke Setec.

I guess this is a response to the Wolfstar video--I guess this is the detailing version of a reality show.

I bounced around it for 90secs and stopped at the pity party. "We could have never known the orders would be this crazy, poor us."

Sorry, then you suck at running a business and in America, it's only a matter of time until someone comes along and can handle the bill for a good shipping company to steal your business. So tired of hearing the excuses and I've ordered from them. Let's just say people selling their products as 'used' can ship them better than their current warehouse situation.

Shipping right now is about $15 for a single bottle. $125 is the free threshold I believe (or $120 maybe). I'm anxiously awaiting some competition for them because it's been long enough to sort the shipping issues and stop having these "we're so sorry but we're learning" recordings.

And sure as right after I posted my earlier note they lowered their free shipping threshold to $99 at least.

That's probably a promotion, they seem to move the free shipping threshold around.
I wondered. The email made it seem permanent. I think reality is also setting in for them and their customers. They likely spent the first months losing money given the sales they ran, built their base, and now looking to recover.

I don't know, all I remember was at Black Friday I was toying around with stuff, and it seemed the free shipping was $99, and then it was $120 or $125, as you note. I wasn't sure at the time if I was confused (my normal state), or if they changed it, but now it seems like they move it around.

Of course not much different from what AG used to do, one week it would be a percentage off, the next week free shipping, the next week a free item with the order, etc. For all I know they are still doing that, but because no one from AG comes on here to promote the sales, we don't know about them.

I get about 3 emails a day from AG still trying to sell what they stock. I even see new product alerts sometimes (including about 1hr ago). I think AGO just has permanent sales these days.

That video explains a lot. I saw a Pan video recently and I kept thinking that his line and DIY re probably from the same blender. Both have a spray polish, practically the same type of polishing pads, ceramic coatings have the same durability ratings and both are from Canada. Too many coincidences.

They should have all been upfront about this joint venture and it would be a non-issue.

That's weird, I wonder why I don't get those emails.
