What's there to do in Florida?

I'm driving down to DF and have 9 days off from work where I have to be nowhere. Besides AG/DF is there anything interesting or car related to do/see in Fl or the South ???

Well car related there's a few car shows every weekend.

Malls, beaches. Ther is many points of interests. Just depends what your interested in

Daytona beach, Daytona Speedway, and Cape Canaveral/NASA.

Depending on how happily married you are/aren't I would suggest just taking the top down and driving along the beach in Ft. Lauderdale & South Beach Miami, I'm sure you'll find plenty to "do".

And the correct etiquette getting someone's attention is "Hey Mami, Voy a Aqui". But remember, Miami is an acronym for "Money Is Always More Important".

...trust me I know, my ex was from Miami.

Seriously though, here's something for the bucket list that I did one year.

- Wake up pre-dawn and go watch the sunrise on South Beach.

- Cuban breakfast @ Cafe & Market Place, 1058 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, FL 33139
- Drive to Key West (3-4 hour trip)
- Enjoy crab @ The Stoned Crab, 3101 North Roosevelt Blvd., Key West, FL 33040
- Find a place to take a siesta (refer to my previous post for how to ask for assistance with this)
- Watch the sunset on the keys.

Done, you can then say you saw the sun rise and set into the ocean on the same day.

If you find that after your siesta it's hard to sleep, you can also always go drinking on Duval St.

Thanks. I've been to Miami & the Keys - maybe I'll go again. I've been drinking wasted on Duval Street about 10 years ago. But, I don't drink anymore. If I did, I'd probably wake up in jail or nude in someone's closet.

Wll Punta Gorda is 2 hours south of Tampa and 3 hours west of Stuart. Its all closer than PA! Now driving to Maimi or Key West ugh I wouldn't wish that on anyone after a long drive from PA. Bet there are a lot of auto museums in FL.

Space Center Cocco Beach, Fort in St Augistine, Disney in Orlando, TPC Sawgrass if you golf in Jacksonville.

Palm Beach would be about as far south as I would want to drive but your milage may differ.

I was going to suggest that. I drive by it almost every day. It is his own personal collection in a former Wal Mart store. It is huuuuuuggggggeeee. That is a saying in southwest Florida. Play on a car dealer.

Park yourself on a street corner of West Palm Beach or South Beach Miami and car watch. Miami is the only place I've ever seen a Veyron.
