Just looking to see what you guys use when doing a one step to remove swirl marks. I've used so many different products but haven't found one that I'm just amazed by.

Whats your Fav even if AG doesn't carry it?

Not looking for a all-in-one.

Yes I have seen the all in one threads I don't want that I want a one step polish.

I guess you mean AIO without the protection (sealant or wax)?
That would be the Menzerna Power Finish PF 2500 (PO 203) which is pad dependent, so if you need more correction get a more aggressive pad and so on... All this without any wax or sealant.

Yes something like this- This is not a AIO its just a polish- A AIO is a polish with a wax.

Thanks:dblthumb2:

But you can use ANY polish as a one-step product... Just heavy up your pad and lighten up the pressure on the last few passes... i do it all the time with Meguiars #205.

205 corrects very little. 205 is 'Ultra fine' polishing.

XMT360 this thread has already been done do a search:nomore:

if u don't like him asking a question , even if it has been asked before many times , why even post u smarta-- remark at all . just skip it go on to the next one . btw he asked for 1 step polish not a aio . totally different .

menzerna power finish is my fav . I've tried a couple and I always go back to menzerna .

I just received a bottle of Hyper Polish today and i have three vehicles to test it out on this weekend (all with supposedly hard paint). If it corrects as good as i read it does then ill use it for my 1 step polishes.

Ive had good results with Power Finish and Opt Hyper Polish. With the right pad on the right paint you could get with Hyper Compound, it does finish down well.

I like Chemical Guys Paint Correction 1. You have to work it a while though to finish down good.

You won't find a polish that fits the bill for every 1-step you do. It all depends on the paint condition and hardness. For harder finishes you can get away using D300 on a polishing pad for a 1-step. For cars with medium hardness the winner seems to be Menz Power Finish, I also use SIP. For softer cars M205 or other finishing polishes work well.

Another important thing is what your customers expecations are, as well as what you market a 1-step as. Is it correction, or just a gloss enhancer? There are many things to take into consideration, hope this helps.

This ^ post is full of win. :props:

D300, Optimum Hyper Spray Polish, or M205 for me, depending on paint and customer expectations.

I really want to know how that hyper polish works. I ordered some but I think it's going to be a couple weeks before I get a chance to use it.
