Curious what your resolutions are to step your game up, better your business, or anything else detail related

My resolution is to be more thorough with my post detail clean up before delivery. Make sure no wax is left behind and no missed spots, especially down low on the rockers.

To get in better shape!

It'll help with the heat, with my stamina, with the possibility of working 7 days a week, confidence, blah blah. It's not much of a New Years resolution, bc I've been getting in better shape for a few months now, but I'd like to continue the progress:xyxthumbs:

To get in better shape!

:iagree: That'll help a lot. I've cut back on physical activity partly due to the fact that i"m always working on someone's car or prowling around in the forums on my free time trying to learn more!

Also, I want to learn enough about paint coatings to have the confidence to try one out. I also need to have the money to purchase one. I hate to drop $60+ to screw it up and have to start over. Also, which one do I choose?? There are so many.

This is one of the things I hope to learn more about at Detail Fest.

Get back in excellent physical shape. Detailing is tough.
Sell an add on with almost every package
Build a successful referral system and push it hard
Continue to consolidate my product usage to about 12 core products
Purchase a true commercial grade steamer and extractor

Stop buying waxes I'll never use and to use products I have before ordering new stuff.

I've been trying to do that ever since Bot Camp. But there's SO MUCH out there. HOW????

And a steamer and extractor is on my list, too.

Actually, after Boot Camp, I crated all the old stuff up and gave it away. One of the best things I could have done. Got rid of the excuses and got busy getting good stuff.

stop spending excess money that is not needed
look at my products and keep what is necessary
purchase a carpet extractor such as the Bissel pro heat =)
buy more products in bulk to save money and space

Loose the gut. It's hard to bend over and clean the rocker panels.

I need to keep my car cleaner. That is my calling card and having it dirty is a no-no.

Will also be more aggressive on bringing customers in. Wasn't very confident throughout the year but now I'm feeling better about doing a good job.

Perhaps the best resolution I could make myself. I cringe to wonder about the amount of money I've spent on products that I won't actually ever need/use.

I always look in my garage at polishes and compounds I'll never use and the giant wax collection I've amassed that I'll never use. Gonna try to sell off some of the stuff and just stick to a few waxes and polishes I like.

*Improve over all health, weight loss is the main thing but improvement through out is a good thing.
*Figure out which lsp I use the most and dump the rest.
*Keep my mustang in cleaner shape then I have been since it's now my weekend/occasional joy ride.
I'm sure I 'll thing of more later.

To actually detail my girlfriends car. '08 Honda Accord. Now that it's freezing out, I have to wait. Got out of the game for a bit, now need to get back into it. Have a couple of cars to get in shape!

My Yukon still looks good, has some scratches down the side from off roading but they are easy to get out by hand and M105.

The Accord is awful!

and like some others mentioned, get rid of the gut! tying shoes without passing out would be nice, much less washing the lower panels! :D

Figure out more efficient ways to do certain task so that a simple wash doesn't take so long. Especially when doing cars for family or friends. Also buy in bulk and stop making so many impulse buys.
