Looking for an AIO to develop a less expensive detail. Never really used many before so I need advice.. names that come to mind are Meguiars Paint creme and Klasse AIO.. any other suggestions are welcome.

I'm looking for something with the best bang for the buck for cut and protection.

Thanks for your help

Optimum GPS... have no idea how it cuts and how durable the sealant is it lays down... i will be trying it out for the first time tomorrow.

Interested in some of the replies here since I never use a AIO. I always use a medium cut polish with a dedicated sealant afterwards.

Poorboy's Polish with Sealant. Very very easy to work with, but doesn't offer much cut IME.

If your swirls are minor or less than that, KAIO is awesome, been using it for years and it goes on so thin that you actually use alot less. Now if it doesn't cut as well as you'd like, well, you can always go over it twice "just to see", its a non-abrasive formula, so your not going to hurt anything, just use a pad that's for polishing though. If you use it by hand, make sure you applicator is dunked in water and wrung out pretty well, this helps spread the product out, thus using less once again. As far as protection goes, well, it honestly will last you about 2 monthes max but since its so easy to use, you could apply it once a month because its "easy on, easy off" and since its an acrylic you don't have that build up issue.

Good luck in whatever you chose!

Klasse AIO is good, but offers no correction. very good 'cleaning' properties but does nothing for correction in my opinion. In addition, the protection it leaves is pretty weak. Typically I'm only using KAIO as a prep for a dedicated sealant (to get a super clean paint surface)

KAIO and megs paint creme are worlds apart in the world of AIO. the compound / polish chart kinda confirms that. the megs paint creme has much more cut.

Autogeek Swirl Removers & Compounds Comparison Chart

My AIO of choice is poorboys polish with sealant (which falls in between KAIO and megs d151 on the chart). it is pad dependent and I find it cleans well, offers some correction (depending on pad choice) and the protection is decent (compared to some other AIO's on the market). can be used in direct sun as well which is nice

D151 if correction is needed, Meguiars cleaner wax(maroon bottle) when I don't need correction. Cheap, works, and you can't beat the smell..:)

D151 is best bang for the buck. Cheap and strong cut.
CG Blacklight if paint is in good condition and looking for best shine.

My favorite is Duragloss 501. It has strong cleaners and nano-abrasives, so it will do some correcting like many AIO. However, unlike so many AIO, it will last +6 months!

  1. Werkstat Prime: Strong
  2. Meguiar's D151
  3. Menzerna Sealing Wax APO 60
  4. Klasse All-In-One

D151,XMT360, both do a super job of light cutting, both look great as far as apperance i personally have found xmt to be longer lasting.

so d151 is some good stuff? it seems like a great value if it works well

"Cheap, works, and you can't beat the smell.. " Hmmmmm reminds me of a girl I once knew.....:)

has anyone tried CG's deep reflections 1 step?

You want the best bang for the buck, can i ask what color your vehicle is? dark or light. if it is dark my suggestion is A1216 I believe it is, if your vehicle is light Mother's both of them are good for minor stuff. Have used both of them for years with good results on light and dark colors
