What's your favorite beer?

Bud Light for every day beer. I like variety of micro brews and match the taste for meals. The heavy beers, I like a few of with a meal.

Favorites are Chimay and a Irish brew that I cant seem to find anymore ...Caffreys.

I lives in Denver for eyar and we had a place calling Fallin Rock that was a beer drinkers heaven. Theres also a place called Gingerbread Man in Austin Texas thats like it.

Hundreds of brews on tap from imported to micro to barley wine.

I don't like beer, so I drink captain:D
+1 I hate the taste of beer and find it a waste of $$ when a bottle of vodka can get you there quicker. I enjoy liquor from all over the globe myself

No but I did sip on some about a month ago, man did that taste awful (Absinthe Blue Velvet, looked like concentrated Windex). I had to chase it with 151 and that couldn't kill the taste lol. On a good note just taking small sips my skin started to tingle. I do have a picture of it on my phone, it's my back round ;).

Absinthe always makes me think of the green fairy [ame=http://youtube.com/watch?v=VfzKVt2xy4c]YouTube - eurotrip the green fairy[/video] , I love him towards the end..."can you say what the f#$% did I do last night" lol

Heres a fun fact, you made out with your sister man.
The one I drank was blue, the green ones are stronger from what I under stand.

I love that movie LOL. The scene with the Hitler kid was f'n hilarious.

Yeh from what I understand in some areas over seas you can get the actual real green absinthe that actually makes you trip out, its illegal here. Your supposed to mix it from what I read as apparently it taste like sh!t by itself.

From what I have been told the way to drink Absinthe is with sugar in warm water (on a spoon). You take a swig then drink the heated sugar water. Not sure it this is true but a pilot said thats they way they do it in Germany (not sure who "they" were tho).

big fan of Great Lakes Brewery, wish I could get it more often than once per year while visiting family in Ohio

Ok absinthe ideas....the most common way is sugar cube, absinthe glass, absinthe spoon, and cold water. You take the sugar cube dip it in absinthe, put it on the absinthe spoon which sits over the glass and as the sugar cube melts you pour the cold water over it.

Absinthe has a very strong black licorice taste.

Hemingway was also known for drinking absinthe in champagne! (Kind of ruins the tough guy image?)

I believe some types are now legal here in the USA. Most I've tried were in Europe (or maybe here now..lol)

Almost all of it is different than the stuff that drove Van Gogh nuts. The supposed effect I believe is caused from Thujone...Ive never really experienced any Hullucenogenic effects (and I still have both ears.)

Its one of those items that has a unique place in history.

Warsteiner pilz 3% is premium lager, over all the German beers are gems. The little experience of American beer I have is that it's washed out.

I thought it was something called Worm Wood?
Thanks for the correct method for drinking Absinthe, and no I have yet to see any Absinthe sold here in the US. You can order it from outside the US and they can send it in a sealed "private" container and hope it doesn't get confiscated lol.

It's a happy day for me, just got home from the store and came across something that made my day...Fat Tire  Apparently it now being distributed in South Carolina. Oh happy days. Also had 1554 and Mothership Wit.

While passing a 5.2 cm kidney stone last year, various doctors and nurses commented on how lemonade seems to help fend them off.

So Mike's or Smirnoff for me.
