So as the title says if you only could have one finishing/light polish what would it be?

I ask as I am purely just a hobbyist and am looking to see what the varying opinions are out there. I have already polished all 4 family vehicles, 3 are in just about perfect shape, so it is just maintenance from here on out (the other one is a thorn in my side).

So far I have only used Menzerna FG400 and Sonax PF. Well I love the PF, I am thinking it is to aggressive to just maintain and take out minimal wear and tear (and I am getting somewhat low on it). So far I am debating between Menzerna SF4000, CarPro Reflect, and Meguiar's 205.

Time for your opinion's.

3M Imperial Hand Glaze is my favorite,
of all the light polishes that I use.

Nice POLISH Bob. I am not interested in hiding anything..

HD polish. Seeing is believing.

Thanks for the feedback will check this one out a little more.

I love the Menzerna lineup of polishes and SF4000 gets my vote.

I figured that would be your vote Mike ;). Thanks for the feedback.

My favorite light polish is Meguiars 105. :xyxthumbs:

:joking:

Its Menzerna SF4000

•FWIW: I was being serious!!

•Yes...It is a very nice POLISH...
-Just one Brand's "naming system", et al.

•3M IHG contains aluminum silicate, 3-7% by weight.
-This is a well-known abrasive found in many polishes.

•And since it seems you are unaware about
any of the above:
-How do you know if 3M IHG "hides" anything, or not?

There's two that I really like.

Meguiar's 205 and Optimum Fine Polish.
The Optimum can be worked forever, sometimes I first use the 205 then follow up with the Optimum being it has less cut then of the 205.
When I do this I can see a big difference, more so on darker colors.

The Optimum can be used as often as you wish without harming the finish.
Great way to maintain your paint.

Close call between Reflect and HD Polish lately... I'll give the edge to HD polish since it is less finicky.

Many opinions. Good luck choosing. i am pleased with meg's 205.
