In the past my favorite was Menzerna FG400 with Megs MF cutting pads and Menz SF4000 with a LC or B&S foam polishing pad but things have changed after trying some new products. The last 3 vehicles I've done, where a full correction was completed, I've used GG Fast Correcting Cream or Correcting Cream with the Boss MF pads and finished with CarPro Reflect or Essence and the CarPro Gloss pads. I am blown away by these combo's and the versatility they offer. Whether the paint is soft or rock hard GM clear they have cut and finished perfectly. The GG creams finish exceptionally well with a slight haze from the MF but the CarPro Gloss Pads take care of that and leave a super glossy finish. If you haven't tried the GG Boss creams and MF pads or the CarPro Gloss Pads, I highly recommend them!

So, what is everyone else's favorite combos?

Rupes Zephir / Keramik
Meguiar's M100 / M205
Meguiar's Ultimate Compound / Polish
Menzerna FG400 / SF4000

With the Rupes stuff, I use their blue and yellow foam, and microfiber pads.

Everything else I use green Hex/B&S to cut, and blue Hex/B&S to polish.

Fast correcting cream/perfecting cream

Menzerna 400 / menzerna 3500

D300 / Essence

Pretty much those are my go tos for 2 steps.

All in ones / one steps

Finishing Sealant
Correcting Cream
Menzerna 3 in 1
CarPro Essence
400 sometimes
Pf2500

In this day and age I can't see why people still want to 2 step when theres no reason to. Technology has come a long way regarding compounds but many are still stuck in the past, doing multiple steps to obtain results that can be had in one step. Spending 20 hours polishing paint doesn't prove you professionsal, on the contrary it proves you inefficient. Get with the times people, modern compounds and modern hard clear coats are here to stay.

This. I was always a two-step follower but over the last year I've woken up to testing out a number of various combos and AIO product and have come to the same conclusion. Everyone has their favorites and there are tons of good ones but I've become and HDProduct Fan.

HDAdapt has won me over for it's ability to correct even the worst I've encountered and finishes to what I see as a solid 8/9 out of 10 even on black. I know Adapt isn't an AIO but it is worth mentioning here. LSP's are so easy to apply and take off it's almost not worth debating AIO's any more.

For the picky fellow in my I've always loved Menzerna 4000/4500 for my Euro paint on both my past MBZ and now Audi paints. However I've moved to HDSpeed as its even easier to apply, wipe off and it finished as good if not better. I still can't believe I've typed that but it's true. I re-polished my hood, roof and trunk recently and used HDSpeed. and love it.

While I've not tackled a touch tough vehicle with HDSPeed I do feel 100% that when teamed with an Orange Pad it would knock-out a tough job.

If you like HD adapt, you'll be in heaven with HD AAT compound. Works faster and finishes even better. I can't imagine going back to any two step scenario.

Here the deal fellas! I'm looking for a product that will remove scratches and swirls (great cut) but is going to leave the finish looking close to gem, shinny as possible and ready for waxing. My customer base is not looking to pay me to polish their whole car after I removed the scratches and swirls. So I'm looking for the best one to accomplish this in a one step. Have some serious cutting power but finishes up like a final sweet polish. So, where do I need to be with a product.

Also I'll be using my Flex 3401 for correction work!

I have heard FG400 can finish down in one step; not sure every time (being a compound) but there are posts in the forum with those claims and the marketing in the product description implies the same. For medium to light swirling SF4000/SF3800 is the direct flight to nirvana. I am a Menzerna fan. 3D HD products have me interested so may try them in the future. I have tried Megs 105/205 products and they never stand up to Menzerna on either hard or soft paint. It's not that they don't work; it just requires more energy and time; and always a second step in some fashion.

It sounds lie you need a product like meguairs D151 paint reconditioning creme. It's cut can be changed by the pad you use and it will leave protection behind that will last between 1 to 2 months.

I forgot tell you that you can get a gallon on Amazon for $33.08 with free shipping if your a prime member. IT'S your best bang for the buck product. You can Polish and wax a car in 1 step. It will cut heavy if a wool pad or yellow foam padding is used. It cut light if you use a green polishing pad.

I actually use that stuff already but isn't that an all in 1 product! Didn't know it will cut???

D151 CUTS best with a wool pad or yellow heavy cut pad from buff and shine or lake country.

D151 has unigrit cutting particles in it. Cut is very dependent of pad type being used.
