Ok, that puts my little Saratoga to shame. I will be flying out to COS in a few weeks helping a friend ferry his Cirrus. Finally get to use TKS. We are planning on FL180 so if you see us below you, dont throw stuff on top of us! Stay safe brother and keeep the shiny side up.

You got it, you too!! :)

That will be a fun flight, I always got a kick out of flying that high when I was flight instructing. You will be close to my home turf, I bet you notice how much longer it takes to get airborne in the thin air compared to your FL air. But maybe not with it being so cold.

I got a chance to fly a Saratoga once and loved it... Great plane you have! A buddy has an SR22, you guys will have a blast.

I have the not so fun job of "detailing" cars at a dealership. Sucks knowing I'm putting swirls into a car, but it's what some people want and it is a job (not a career, just a job), so it gets me by for now. I must admit I feel like a big hypocrite learning how to detail the right way here and then going out and doing exactly what we're not supposed to do. My only comfort is knowing our cars don't get treated that way, and knowing I use better products on my 17 year old car than what gets used on a brand new car. :dblthumb2:

Ciera there's no reason to feel like a hypocrite for doing a job your boss has told you to do, that's being a good employee. I understand how you feel and can sympathise but as long as you keep doing your own car the way that makes you happy don't worry about it. I spent 5 hours cleaning my mom's car on Thanksgiving and apologized to her that I didn't have more time to spend on it but she loved it and that's what counted.

IT professional - specifically a certified virtualization (VMware) and network engineer (Cisco). My other other job is amateur triathlete (IronMan), and detailing in my spare time (very little).

<--- Air Force Physician Assistant (PA)
10 years as an enlisted medic, 3 years as an Independent Duty Medic, and now Physician Assistant.

Fire Chief and fire apparatus mechanic. Detail in what little time is left.

Machine Tool Repair, mostly on the electronic/electrical side

Crash Safety Engineer for one of the NA auto manufacturers

27 Years as a professional Firefighter, Captain within the investigations division.

Ok so how many of you answered this while working at said jobs? Haha
"I"

I've got my J.D., although if I was smart, I would have gotten my M.D. :bash:

Grass is greener on the other side. I think I should have gone to law school instead. Hopefully this mentality fades..
