Well....As you all know,I've been working on getting a detailing section up for Operation Comfort at the Wounded Warrior Garage.

Turns out, the owner of the garage, and shop boss were impressed by the hood I showed you guys and have hired me as their higher end/ family detailing jobs.

We have a used car dealership on the land, we hired 2 guys last week to take care of the "dealership details" if you know what I mean.

My first detail for pay has been over the passed 3 days. The Big Boss's sister in laws Mercades.

Anyways, bla bla bla, So i guess I can say my new occupation as of 2 days ago is a detailer!!!!!!! Yay me!

My avatar kinda takes the guesswork out of it.

I've got my J.D., although if I was smart, I would have gotten my M.D. :bash:

Given all that is happening with healthcare, I'm confused as to why you would say this.

I am a safety guy. I specialize in OSHA, EPA, FDA compiance with focuses in hazmat, bioterrorism, and emergency response. I used to play in space suits for most of the day. Now I work in the biotechonology field.

Right now I'm at AG obviously, but next month I will be starting the police academy full time. I'm super excited to take this next step in my life, but don't worry, I'll still be posting here. :D

Matt, I'm just starting my 18th year in Law Enforcement. It's a great profession with a huge variety of jobs once you get in. If you get on with a larger force, there are so many different jobs to do from marine, traffic, drugs, detective office, Ident branch, etc. I did Collision Reconstruction for 5 years; that was fascinating.

Right now my occupation is, starving, freezing mobile detailer but I come from the industrial machinery repair and maintenance field. Got laid off this spring.

I have owned and operated an office cleaning company for the last seven years. We clean over 500,000 sq. ft. of office space in the Central Ohio area. We clean small offices, warehouses, banks, churches, movie theaters and manufacturing facilites. We also clean commercial and residential carpets. I detail cars when the opportunity presents itself.

I really appreciate every single one of your post, and I thank all the AutoGeek.net staff especially Max for making forms like this possible. It's mind blowing all the different walks of life from which we come. I've been showing all my family and friend all the different professions/lifestyles that share the love of detailing. The neatest aspect of this thread personally, is how we all are so different yet have a common interest, hobby, obsession, and love for beautifying autos that it basically breaks racial/economical/educational/gender lines. In the end that's what it's all about. Happy Holidays and God Bless!
Your new friend Jimmy Gomez
