What's your occupation?

I really appreciate every single one of your post, and I thank all the AutoGeek.net staff especially Max for making forms like this possible. It's mind blowing all the different walks of life from which we come. I've been showing all my family and friend all the different professions/lifestyles that share the love of detailing. The neatest aspect of this thread personally, is how we all are so different yet have a common interest, hobby, obsession, and love for beautifying autos that it basically breaks racial/economical/educational/gender lines. In the end that's what it's all about. Happy Holidays and God Bless!
Your new friend Jimmy Gomez

Very pleasant post. Made me smile at the start of what I hope to be another great day. THANK YOU for that.

I'll be becoming a full fledged doctor soon!
Have completed my MBBS and I'm currently doing internship training in a hospital.

I got into detailing after I bought my new car and began to look for ways to enhance the looks etc. Now I'm literally car crazy and I really love working on my car!

Hospital is super hectic all the time and whenever I get a day off, I just detail!!

Nothing beats the look on a paint polished to perfection!!:xyxthumbs:

I really have enjoyed reading this thread myself, it's very interesting to see what others do behind the scenes. This is a stellar forum and what makes up a stellar forum is stellar people.

Forums are great, to me they are one of the coolest things to have evolved from computers and the Internet... I wrote this back in 2004, you can find it in the welcoming statement on MOL and it still holds true today...

As the Internet has evolved, discussion forums have become the primary way like-minded people come together to share their passion and their interests.

I assemble turbochargers for Cumming/Holset for 8 hours a day 7 days a week. Christmas eve will be my first day off in 28 days unless we some how have a great week and get 1 day off before hand. Don't see it happening :(, my cars dirty right now and I'm just to tired to clean it (doesn't help I work night shift).

I love it. I'll def. live with some sleepless nights, and terrible memories, but I think it's all worth it in the end! Lol, it's certainly not for everyone.

Given all that is happening with healthcare, I'm confused as to why you would say this.

When I earned my J.D. the healthcare industry wasn't in the state it is today, plus, the billable hour can get to be all consuming. But I'm not trying to complain, I have been blessed in many ways.
