That's an interesting outcome to this thread ... Welcome!

Like mentioned, so many backgrounds and one common interest.

Accountant by trade. I detail cars for friends & family just for the fun of it especially after getting motivated by the O.G.'s on this site. My weekends were made for fun...fun for detailing but not for taking anything too seriously. I've done Camry's, Carollas, Avalons, Taureses, Xterras. Beetles, GTI's, Golf's, Jetta's, GLI's, Passats, Mazda 6's, etc. In it for the thrill of it. Doesn't matter what kind of ride you're rocking, it deserves to be treated like a king, and that's what I do like Narnia!

I have the not so fun job of "detailing" cars at a dealership. Sucks knowing I'm putting swirls into a car, but it's what some people want and it is a job (not a career, just a job), so it gets me by for now. I must admit I feel like a big hypocrite learning how to detail the right way here and then going out and doing exactly what we're not supposed to do. My only comfort is knowing our cars don't get treated that way, and knowing I use better products on my 17 year old car than what gets used on a brand new car. :dblthumb2:
TELL ME ABOUT IT!!!! I thought i was the only one lol i got the same gay job!! I work for Ford and my manager is an asshole that has "25 years of detailing experience" is completely bullbeep lolz is a dealership all they want is for their cars to SHINE lolz i use to work for honda and they were ALOT better than where i am i hate my job i am only here temporary im moving to Chicago and plan in starting a mobile detail business over there :props:
