Mike,

I am a very happy user of Wolfgang Deep Gloss and P21S Concours-Look as my primary combo, but I am beginning to take on customers with Ferrari's, Porsche's, and Classic/Vintage cars who have much higher demands than the typical customer.

...and before anyone says it, I am aware that it's all about the paint condition - so for arguements sake, assume that the paint is nearly flawless from polishing prior to LSP application...

Do you have a favorite for each type and color, or simply one for each color??

My goal is to match both beauty with durability, so I guess keep that in mind when you answer. I say that because I have heard that Zymol, for instance, looks fantastic, but lasts about 2-3 weeks... In my opinion that just doesn't cut it :)

Thanks

You can stack Zymol wax. A few coats will last quite a while, but you have to wait overnight between coats. I really like Dodo Juice Supernatural, it's a great price for a really high quality wax.

Dodo Juice Supernatural or start moving into the expensive offering from Swissvax.

So basically the answer is either Supernatural or Swissvax...

In terms of which is "better", I am curious about which one you all have found to last longer versus the one that looks better... I haven't used either of them, so before I go and order it, I would love to here some specifics on day one versus day 30 (after application)

Thanks guys

I wouldn't buy into the hype on extremely expensive waxes unless you want them just because you do. Focus on polishing and then use a quality wax or sealant and enjoy! :) Just my opinion.

I have used Swissvax Saphir and its great, you can spend ALOT more on Swissvax products. I haven't used Supernatural yet.

I found Saphir to last several months and still look great. You may want to go to the DodoJuice website and ask them directly, Dom and PJ will be able to answer all DodoJuice questions.

Souveran -- solid reds, blacks and yellows
Fuzion --- metallics and lighter colors

latley ive been loving the dark deep glossy look to my paint. so i grab eaither Souveran paste wax or swissvax concorso. and if i want more of a wet look i go for pinnacle signature series 2 ...

Black and red: Jetseal 109 or Wolfgang 3.0 followed by Souveran

Now about silver... I have many LSPs in my arsenal: Fuzion, Souveran, Natty's, P21S, Colli, Wolfgang 3.0, Jetseal 109, EX-P, etc... But for some reason, on silver, I always go back to the good old Klasse SG + M16. Silver requires optimal reflection to look good (unlike depth for black/red) and this combo is killer.

Are you buying the wax because it looks good or because you want to be able to "sell" the high end wax to the high end car owners?
I did just that, I didnt drop a super high dollar amount on wax but i bought Rubbish boys OE from Ben over in the UK. It is a really nice wax but I have to say the "selling" point of it is what sold me. Just being able to sell them on the fact that I specifically imported a wax from the UK... yada yada yada was enough to get me to buy it.
A wax wont make a car look good but if a high dollar wax can sell your services to a high end customer and help get the job then its worth it. Most and most being the key wont be able to tell a difference in looks between a $50 and a $200 and up wax. People really buy into the high dollar amount of things, just look at dealerships selling the sealant packages for hundreds.
Keep the suggestions coming though because I am curious about everyones favorite highend wax as well

Supernatural is simply amazing. a bit harder to use than what you are probably used to, but worth it IMO. Pops flakes, and simply looks amazing on black. Here is a video I just uploaded for you of 1 coat of SN beading, only a week old, but still amazing.

by the way, that is not a pressure washer lol. It's my Foam Gun hose head, and in real life I wasn't spraying as hard as it seems there haha... It looks like I'm blasting the paint, jeez.

and just for the record, I am as equally impressed with the look that Supernatural gave me, as with my $450 Swissvax Insignis. Though the Insignis is leaps, and bounds easier to apply. Don't disqualify Fuzion from your list either. Looks are up there, plus the free refill is an incredible offer.

Does it look good on ANY color or metallic flake?

The wax is only as good as the job it's meant to protect.

That being said, on top of a properly finished surface, Supernatural can compete with anything on the market for depth and clarity in my opinion.

I agree with your statement, but despite popular belief waxes do give a different look in my opinion. 95% of the look comes from prep work....not saying I can spot P21S/S100 out from Fuzion on any car, but I can definitely tell on my own car after having experimented with over 10 "high end" LSP's.

Great responses guys! I feel like Supernatural might be the next purchase, especially since I can get a mini-jar at AutoGeek for cheap.. I really really really like working with P21S, just cause it has the consistancy of butter, so its really easy to work with, but it another wax ends up lasting longer, than elbow grease it is:)
