It does drain well when it stops raining, but the ground is still very soggy, the farmer said he can't drive the tractor out there yet, and he's still buying hay in for the cattle. I was walking across the soccer fields yesterday and I was still sinking a couple of inches down in places.

Well it rained, so maybe that "washed" the wildfire smoke out of the air? AQI is a little better but I stayed inside again. I'm used to looking at the fog and thinking "well once that burns off and the sun comes through . . . " but I don't think smoke *burns* off, LOL.

Still got the icy winds blowing, 12.1C/53f, but with the wind chill it feels like 2.8/37. Still walked 5km with the dogs, but they didn't go for a swim today.

Finally warmed up here. But yet another all day rain Sunday. Did everything I needed to do Saturday.

Just drove our houseguests 90 miles northeast of Palmer to the Eureka Roadhouse for lunch

The last 20 miles it is 35 degrees and snowing hard
