Thanks for humoring us by switching from metric

I saw this online a few weeks ago, but apparently back in 1793 the US ordered a set of metric weights and measures from France with the intention of switching over, but British privateers sunk the ship transporting them. Must be true, why would someone lie on the internet.

It nearly cracked 40c (104f) today, combined with extremely high humidity, wasn't nice to be outside working. We've since had a cool change blast through, bringing more rain with it.

We didn't quite get that high, 35 I think, but we won't get the cool change till Sunday.

The cool change came through, we went from 35C/95f at midday down to 23C/73f at 3pm. 2 weeks into summer and I'm already over it.

Here in central MN, it was 50F last Saturday, currently about 23F and high for tomorrow will happen at midnight tonight and falling to below 0F by end of the day tomorrow. That's about on par with our weather this year.

SE MI. I need a winter hobby, these next few months are LONG for me. Always wanted a snowmobile and I do find myself looking. But I don’t have the garage space with the camaro taking up a bay.

So that's over 95f, but with low humidity, so it's not horrible.

I could watch the video you posted on DFBs thread, but that was a link to YT I guess, so maybe put them up and link them, unless it's you running around in a blizzard in your underwear, then maybe don't.
