A PSA for those of you who do use wheel coatings or will: It makes them really slick when wet/damp!
I was swapping out my daily wheel/tire for my competition set this weekend. It was raining at the time and I had to briefly back my car out of the garage to position it in a place I could jack it up safely, so the wheels got a little water on them. My wheels are wearing a layer of Mohs EVO and it makes them rather slipperly to hold on to if they have a little water on them. I had to grab my cheapo mechanics gloves with the rubber surfaces to get a solid hold on them.
Before you all ask why I didn't dry them off first, I actually did. However, the humidity was off the charts and nothing really dries in that weather. You might get the majority of the water off, but condensation forms right behind it.
