Wheel Protection

Dang it, I need the brakes to show, haha. Otherwise I think I would of bought a set for each of my cars...
 
so I am done with 2 of the wheels with my complete process
washed with PB
clay barred inside and out
xmt #2 on orange pad
XMT 360 on white ccs pad
3 coats of PB wheel sealant
topped with 1 coat of nattys blue

needless to say they look like liquid and feel like glass.

I'll try to get some pictures tomorrow
 
I would suggest you rethink the use of a carnauba wax as last on wheels. First it cannot stand the heat and will disipate quite quickly. Also it is likely to gather or pull in the brake dust and trap in oils. Keep it on paint, and off wheels and under the hood.
