Wheel Sealants

I currently have a new bottle of PB PwS. DO you think that would work as well as Klassee AIO? I would then top it with Optimum OS.

Let me know your opinions on this.

I agree with those that say a good paint sealant works just as well as a wheel sealant. I use Klasse SG on my BMW and it allows me to go for about 1-2 months of cleaning the rims with just a little distilled water in a sprayer (or have rain do this, but since I am in TX, it's just not happening much these days :))

Sorry to dug up old thread but I have brake dusts issue also.
I already have Collonite and Klasse AIO, is it okay to use one of those on the alloy wheels to shield the brake dusts ? which is better ? Please advise. Thx.

Out of those two I would pick the Collinite. Actually, I think I would use the AIO first and then top with the Collinite.

I agree with Setec on your current choices.

In my opinion the best protection for wheels is to use a coating like OC 2.0, CQ, C5.

I use Collinite on my wheels. Works great and really holds up to the heat.

Do the wheel wax products do anything to help the shine of the wheel, or are they all designed to make brake dust easier to clean?

The reason I ask is that I'm looking for something to bring out the shine in my clear-coated wheels. Detailer's offers a wheel glaze, but I'm not sure it really offers any more shine.

I know when I looked into break dust covers for my BMW (have since sold the car) i was told it could cause the breaks to become too hot. I would double check with the dealer. It may depend on the year and model.

Remove the wheels, clean, clay and then Opti-Coat.
Spray them off, or use quick detailer dust wipes right off.
