Wheel Wax for BMW Wheels

Ceramic Paint, if I stand correct.
 
I'm not sure then, due to that I wouldn't use an abrasive wax like that, someone else will chime in who knows more on what to do with that
 
If you are concerned about the brake dust, I have found that the armour all wheel protectorate spray keeps the brake dust off. It makes a huge difference. It's $7 at walmart give it a try.
 
any sealant will work. I've used 845, 10% KSG, wheel glaze (ok) but now have OC...

better yet, change your brake pads to low dusting...

I agree with smack. Bought a new BMW a couple of months ago and I asked that very question.
 
I bought a product at a BMW dealership called Wheel Wax. I haven't tried it yet, so I cannot comment on how good a product it is.

I used two coats of 845 and put a topping of KSG, I no longer need to wash my wheels...Just SWIFFER dust them off now and then...2011 328 I Conv...And with a white car you all should know how important it is to keep off brake dust...

Best thing I ever did...
 
no point in buying dedicated wheel wax/sealants, a nice coat of collinite 845 or wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant goes a long way, never need anything more then soap and water if you lay down a nice protective coating, or even better is opti-coat. and to the OP don't post outside links to products that are carried by AG,
 
there is an article I read compared several delicate wheel waxes and some other paint waxes on wheels. And the surprising winner is 845, which outperforms most waxes designed for wheels.

As for OP's question, the cleaner wax won't bond onto wheels longer enough to achieve any real protection
 
I use Poly Seal on my style 193's. They still get dusty but they are easier to clean.
 
With Poly Seal on the wheels I just dust them off with a Swiffer duster.
 
All new cars made in the past 10 years or more are clear coated,my 2000 Jeep was.

I don't buy into the dedicated "wheel" wax anymore . while it may work just fine some cleaning properties and protection . I find just to iron x , clay , polish if needed and then yes good ole 845 or any sealant will suffice . my way now is opticoat though .
 
I've owned quite a few BMW's over the years. Best bet Opti Coat, second would be 845 then Rejex. I've used PB wheel sealant with some success but it does not last nearly as long as Opti Coat or 845. 845 is practically the same price as a dedicated wheel sealant/wax so go that way if cost is an issue and you can use on your cars finish as well.
