Wheel woolies

I just got the 3 piece kit, and unfortunately, the small one is too big to fit between the splits in my wheel spokes (so I'll have to continue using foam finger pockets) and the big one is too big to fit between the calipers and the wheel barrel, and just barely clears the heat shield so I can only move side to side not front to back (so I'll continue to use the Daytona brush).

Hoping to salvage some use for these, I was wondering what other things people use the 3 Wheel Woolies brushes for, besides wheels? (including non-detailing applications)
 
I only use on wheels bug I have about 15 kinds of wheel brushes for all kinds of wheels. I love the wheel woollies.
 
I use them exclusively for wheel wells. The only one I actually use for wheels is the bent one. Also, I think I invented this use: exhaust polishing using small Wheel Woolie on a drill:

Nice! I want wheel woolies now just so I can chuck it into my drill and go to town!!!
 
Thanks, the jambs, tips, and wheel wells seem like a good use. There might be some engine compartment uses as well.

I think the handle is solid plastic (or at least the end is, since I drilled a hanger hole in each of them). I'm trying to think of a way to make them bendable, but adjustable rather than a fixed bend (which I think could be done with a heat gun). I wonder if I cut the handle just below the brush, then drilled a couple inches down the center of both sides and put a stiff but flexible wire down the center (maybe 12 gauge solid copper), if that might work. Maybe add a small set screw in each side to keep it from spinning or coming off, and the wire could be replaced once it breaks after flexing it too many times. Anyone tried anything like this?
 
I was hoping someone would come up with a "power woolie"! And we are working on developing a smaller size yet for those crevices. Keep your eyes open in 2014 for new products! (Melanie from Braun Brush - maker of Wheel Woolies)
